What we actually fix

1,100+ people follow the shop on Facebook. The work is the same as the posts: keep the device, skip the dumpster.

  • 01

    Phones & tablets

Stuck on the Apple logo, no charge, dead Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, board reflow. iPhone and iPad work that other counters write off.

  • 02

    Game consoles

Xbox Series X, PS5, and Switch. HDMI ports, heat-sink service, APU polish, and liquid metal — the jobs that keep a console out of the trash.

  • 03

    Board-level repair

Microsoldering, ripped traces, chips the size of a grain of sand. If the last shop already tried, bring it anyway.

  • 04

    Ports, cables & storage

HDMI replacements, charging ports, ribbon cables, and stubborn drives that need donor boards to spin again.

Bench notes

Real jobs posted publicly. If your device looks like one of these, it probably still has a chance.

PS5 deep clean

Deep cleaning a PS5 comes standard with polishing the APU die and heat sink, plus fresh liquid metal.

Magnetic HDMI

Broken HDMI on PS5 and Xbox is usually from moving the console around. Breakaway magnetic HDMI ports keep that from happening again.

Xbox, second opinion

Another shop's Xbox Series X came in with four ripped traces. After a major cleanup, replacement screws, and a new HDMI port, it's ready for action.

Four boards, one drive

Four separate motherboards to get a hard drive working again. Slow process. Worth it when the data comes back.

Hobbs electronics, board by board

Mr. Fix It All is home-based electronics repair in Hobbs, NM, in the Permian. There is no public shop address. Pickup and delivery is available in the Hobbs area. The Facebook page is the shop floor: Xbox HDMI jobs other techs walked away from, iPads that wouldn't charge because of a chip the size of a pinhead, PS5s that get a proper liquid-metal service instead of a slap of paste.

We also work oilfield automation electronics — wellsite controllers, PLC and RTU cards, panel I/O, radios, and HMIs. If another shop already opened it, still bring it. A lot of the work started as someone else's unfinished repair.
